December Meeting

Two critical Senate runoff races in Georgia on January 5th will determine which political party controls the Senate.  We know what Senate control under Mitch McConnell looks like:  blocking every single piece of legislation from even coming to a vote.  McConnell will also attempt to block the Biden Adminstration's cabinet nominees.  We need to focus our energy on the Georgia Senate races, but in order to do that, we need to learn about Georgia.  Join us to learn about what Stacey Abram's did to help flip the state blue, the history of voter suppression in Georgia, the Democratic Senate candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, and importantly, how we can best support GA Democrats now.

The Georgia Roundtable event is free.  The Democratic Club of North Santa Cruz County has already vote to max out our 2021 allowable donation to Fair Fight.  We are encouraging Roundtable attendees to make personal donations directly to Fair Fight and/or the Ossoff and Warnock campaigns.  Links to Fair Fight and campaigns are on the Home page of our website.
