Topic: Measure W and Emergency Preparedness

Guest speaker Scotts Valley Fire Chief Mark Correira will provide information on Measure W, the November 7th ballot measure for construction of a new fire station to meet seismic standards and building codes and improve District coverage and response times.

Guest speaker Liz Taylor-Selling, of the SLV Emergency Network, will talk about emergency preparedness efforts of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and the work volunteer team members do to keep SLV mountain communities safe.

Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. There will be no food service available upstairs. Members who would like to have dinner prior to the meeting should come early and dine in the downstairs dining room, or plan on eating afterwards.

Meetings are free and open to the public.
